Program website:<\/strong> Project description:<\/strong><\/p>\n The project focuses on creating an environment that supports the circular economy in the Pomurje and Vas county. The supportive environment aims at raising awareness and competences in the field of agriculture and local food production and food processing sector, as well as transferring knowledge, technologies and best practices between the two regions.<\/p>\n The project partners will create a supportive environment, train themselves and organise study visits. The cooperation established between them will remain active after the project has ended.<\/p>\n To this end, good practices will be identified in both regions, and a basis for personalised, individual food producer\/processor training will be prepared and a mentoring process in the form of a pilot activity will be implemented for 5 to 5 food producers\/processors per country. This approach will provide individual solutions to the stakeholders who, with expert support, will be able to make changes in their food production\/processing processes.<\/p>\n Additional project activities:<\/span><\/p>\n During the implementation of the project, the partners will gather information and experience in the field, which will form the basis of a recommendation to policy makers. In parallel, a pilot data exchange model will be implemented, tested and evaluated to complement the material flows in the food value chain.<\/p>\n The partners will continuously present the achieved project results to stakeholders through their newsletters, press releases and online platforms.
